On the heels of its March 8 auction that saw a Babe Ruth single-signed baseball sell for $89,245, Vintage Authentics has announced some of the top items for its next auction, which ends April 12.
The auction includes a wide array of game-used jerseys, bats and autographs, with a heavy dose of baseball, football and basketball items.
Leading the way is a 1975 game-used and autographed Hank Aaron Brewers jersey. The away jersey is graded by Lou Lampson and received a final grade of GU8.5.
Next, there’s a 1984 Jack Lambert game-used Steelers road jerseys graded GU6.5.
“The Aaron and Lambert items are the most unique,” said co-CEO Steve Jensen of Vintage Authentics. “You don’t see that stuff very often. The Steelers are such a popular team and these are really tough to find – commons usually go for $1,500-$2,000 and this is a superstar Hall of Famer.”
