The Pro Football Hall of Fame and The Franklin Mint have partnered to offer limited edition replica mini bronze busts for the first time. The distinctive collectibles are mini versions of the iconic Hall of Fame bronze busts.
These never-before-available collectibles debuted at the Hall of Fame in Canton during the annual Enshrinement Weekend this past August.
“The limited edition replica mini bronze busts are spectacular and uniquely rare collectibles,” stated Steve Strawbridge, the Hall of Fame’s senior vice president of Merchandising & Licensing. “The Hall is thrilled to work with The Franklin Mint to provide all football fans the opportunity to purchase such an exceptional item that truly encapsulates the Hall’s mission to honor the heroes of the game, preserve its history, promote its values and celebrate excellence everywhere.”
The series launched with mini busts of Joe Montana, Walter Payton, Joe Namath, Terry Bradshaw and Emmitt Smith – and will release new mini busts every year. The mini bust of legendary running back Jerome Bettis will be made available in early 2016.
”We are honored the Pro Football Hall of Fame has chosen to partner with the Franklin Mint. With our collective mission to deliver quality, integrity and creativity, for the first time ever, fans can now own the jewel of the Hall of Fame with a replica of their iconic bronze busts,” stated Colin Hagen, vice president at The Franklin Mint.
The mini busts created in collaboration with Icon Crystals are crafted through a poly-resin/electroplating process that produces exact replicas of the iconic bronze busts. Each mini bust measures 5 inches high and weighs 9 ounces. The busts are individually numbered and retail for $29.99 each.
