Game-used jerseys highlight Bricol October Auction

t gwynn jersey.jpgThe BricolSportsAuction.com Oct. 19 auction has a heavy emphasis on baseball items, but also contains items from the other major sports.  

The auction will feature more than 225 game-used and autographed jerseys, more than 60 autographed/game-used or game model bats and more than 435 autographed baseballs. All autographed items are authenticated by James Spence Authentication and all game-used jerseys and equipment are authenticated by Lou Lampson.

The baseball offerings in the auction will include a lot of items from current stars, with some items from retired stars mixed in.

The top game-used baseball jerseys in the auction include: an Alex Rodriguez 2001 Rangers home; a Derek Jeter 2004 Yankees home; a Randy Johnson 1998 Astros road; a Tony Gwynn 1997 Padres home (near right); a Keith Foulke 2005 Red Sox alternate; an Aramis Ramirez 2003 Pirates alternate; a Craig Biggio 1989-93 Astros batting practice; and a Ryan Klesko 2003 Padres pregame/batting practice.

Other highlighted baseball items include: a Johnny Bench 1980-83 Reds game-used autographed bat; a 1979 Pirates “World Champions” autographed team collage containing 40 signatures; a Joe Morgan 1980-83 game-used bat; Andruw Jones early 2000 Braves game-used dual-autographed cleats; a Yankees stars autographed bat containing 22 signatures; an Ivan Rodriguez early 2000 game-used bat; a Barry Bonds circa-2000 Giants game-used autographed hat; a Randy Johnson Mariners movie worn “Little Big League” road jersey; a Miguel Cabrera 2004-05 Marlins game-used bat; a 1960 Pirates “World Champions” autographed color team poster photo containing 21 signatues; a Roger Clemens 1999 Yankees game-used mock turtleneck undershirt; a Troy Glaus 2001-05 game-used bat; Bradley Harmon 2006 World Baseball Classic Australia game-used autographed bat, glove, shoes, cleats, and jersey; a Joe DiMaggio 1998 autographed “Yankee Legends” color litho; a Don Mattingly Yankees used equipment bag; an Albert Pujols circa 2000 Cardinals game-used autographed warm-up pullover; a Bernie Williams 1996-97 Yankees game-used bat; Scott Rolen 1997-2002 Phillies game-used cleats; a Gary Sheffield 1993-97 Marlins game-used bat; a Robinson Cano 2005 Yankees game-used bat; and a 2006 USA Baseball Team autographed bat containing 25 signatures.

Football items in the auction include: a Philip Rivers 2004 Chargers game-used autographed home rookie jersey (near left); a Steelers “Reunion Show” autographed color litho containing 56 signatures; a Shaun Alexander circa-2000 Seahawks game-used Riddell helmet; a Brian Mitchell 2003 Giants game-used jersey; a Benny Barnes 1970s Cowboys game-used Riddell suspension helmet; a Ted Johnson 1995-2004 Patriots game-used home jersey; a Red Grange autographed Wilson NFL ball; and a Colts autographed authentic helmet containing 27 signatures.

Other highlighted sports items in the auction include: a Dirk Nowitzki 2003-04 Dallas Mavericks game-used jersey; a Bryan Trottier 1990s New York Islanders game-used jersey; and a Jeremy Roenick 1992 All-Star Game autographed game-used CCM helmet.

Highlighted non-sport items include: a David Carradine autographed “Kill Bill” long sword and a Richard and Pat Nixon autographed 8-by-10-inch color photo.
