Baltimore News Ruth Card Leads Memory Lane Auction

Memory Lane Inc. is currently auctioning off the most expensive rookie baseball card of its stature, the 1914 Baltimore News Babe Ruth PSA 2 rookie card.

lso offered is a stunning news wire photo from 1915 of Babe Ruth in his rookie season with the Boston Red Sox. Along with a whole host of early turn of the century tobacco cards including E93s, T201s, T-202s, T-205s and T-206s, Turkey Reds, Cracker Jacks, Delong’s and much, much more.

In addition to the offered sports rarities in MLI’s auction, the auction house also offers some rare Americana.  A group of 20 out of 45 former presidents in signed cancelled check form dating as far back as 1802. Included in this spectacular group are cancelled checks signed by Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, William Henry Harrison and even a newer nearly impossible rare check signed by former President Ronald Reagan.

In addition to these items are three checks adorning the signatures of the famous Beatles, one check written and dual-signed by John Lennon and Paul McCartney (the only way you can obtain Paul McCartney on a check) and two single-signed checks of George Harrison and Richard Starkey (Ringo Starr).
