Just Collect, one of the country’s largest buyers of vintage baseball and sports cards, has announced the addition of Bill Cengeri as staff writer and acquisition associate.
Leighton Sheldon, president of the Somerset, N.J., company, feels Bill brings vast knowledge and experience in the baseball card collecting field.
“Bill received his first card at age 4 and has been collecting ever since,” said Sheldon. “He is a retired U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer, a former sports columnist and reporter, and a sportscaster. Most recently, Bill served in business development for Sportscard Guaranty (SGC), a leading grading service in the hobby. “Our concept of honestly, ethically and fairly dealing with our customers, offering the best value in buying their cards or collections, is the most efficient and modern 21st century way to transact baseball card sales,” Sheldon added. “Bill has those interactive skills to pleasantly and professionally represent our Company and work with potential clients.”
Cengeri earned the Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College (MO) and the Master of Science in Sports Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He has previously been heard on such broadcast outlets as CBS, Host Communications, Westwood One, the Armed Forces Broadcast Network sports affiliates, and been read in the Gray Communications, Tribune-Review, The Pitt News and other print media sources.
