Panini America has announced that it is using its on-demand Panini Eternal platform to honor the New England Patriots’ history-making Super Bowl LI triumph over the Atlanta Falcons with a Super Bowl Stubs series of trading cards featuring pieces of authentic Super Bowl LI tickets and, in some cases, rare autograph versions.
Company officials are launching a new Super Bowl Stubs card each Friday with Tom Brady, Stephen Gostkowski, Malcolm Mitchell and Chris Hogan already available. The Julian Edelman Super Bowl Stubs card will launch Friday, Oct. 13.
All Super Bowl Stubs cards are limited to just 25 copies each, including autograph versions of Mitchell and Hogan (Hogan’s first Patriots certified autograph card). There are also super-rare 1/1 versions.
After Edelman releases on Oct. 13, the final cards in the 10-card Super Bowl Stubs set will be James White (autograph), Dont’a Hightower (autograph), Trey Flowers (autograph), Danny Amendola and Brady.
Collectors can visit the Panini Eternal platform each Friday at www.paniniamerica.net for the new releases.
