Topps has narrowed the list to five players for the No. 1 spot in 2016 Topps Baseball after online voting.
The most coveted spot in Topps’ annual baseball card set is the first spot, No. 1. For 2016, Topps is allowing fans to vote which player will slide into that slot. Every team will be represented and voting pared down from there.
Topps has extended its agreement with Bryce Harper, remaining the exclusive provider of his autographed cards. Harper will also continue to be featured on packaging of Topps baseball products.
It’s like those commercials when the customer at the grocery store is the 1 Millionth Customer. Well, PSA just hit 20 million certified submissions, and the lucky collector who submitted that piece was awarded with a Bryce Harper autographed ball.
No surprise that Harper, Trout and Darvish make Topps Rookie All-Star team. Look for the familiar trophy on their cards and many others heading into the 2013 collecting season.
