The Helms Athletic Foundation (HAF) was a Los Angeles-based sports organization founded in 1936 and home to some of the most prized pieces of sports memorabilia in the 1940s and ’50s. Now some of those pieces will be in the upcoming SCP Auctions sale.
Mile High’s January auction will include a Babe Ruth and Al Capone signed baseball that also involves Herb Pennock and Eddie Collins in one of the more unique pieces of autographed memorabilia to hit the market recently.
