The release of the second series of Topps Baseball will mark the debut of Topps’online redemption card program. Moving forward, all of the company’s redemptioncards will contain a code on the back of each card that can be entered at www.topps.com/redemptions. After customers enter the code, the site will allow customers
to track the status of their redemptions and send them an automatic update when redemptions are shipped.
“Our No. 1 priority is to completely eliminate redemptions from our products,” said Mark Sapir, marketing director for Topps. “Although we have made progress in this direction, sometimes redemptions are unavoidable. We believe this new online redemption system will allow for a quicker, easier and improved redemption process
for our collectors.”
Collectors will still have the option of sending their redemptions to the company via regular mail. But for the company and the collectors, the online option makes it easier to receive confirmation that the company has received the redemption and track its status. “We believe this is a step in the right direction and we will continue to focus on improving our customer experience across all facets of our business,” said Topps general manager Warren Friss.
