TRISTAR Productions announced a new partnership with ESPN 97.5 FM in Houston.
With this newly-signed agreement, the TRISTAR Collectors Corner radio show’s new home will be on Houston’s ESPN affiliate, with TRISTAR executives Jeff Rosenberg and Bobby Mintz joining Carl Dukes regularly on his “Put Up Your Dukes” show on weekday afternoons to talk about sports and collectibles. Rosenberg and Mintz also will take calls from listeners interested in the value of collectible items they have at home and talk about the many professional athletes who work with TRISTAR.
“We are extremely excited to join forces with ESPN 97.5 FM as partners,” said Bobby Mintz, TRISTAR’s Vice President of Sales & Celebrity Relations. “Both their station and our company are growing, and we are excited to have a radio partner that shares our vision in promoting sports and collectibles.”
TRISTAR Collectors Corner hours on the station will regularly include segments during which sports stars who have a relationship with TRISTAR will call in and participate in the discussion with Rosenberg, Mintz and Dukes.
As part of the partnership, TRISTAR has named ESPN 97.5 FM as the presenting sponsor of TRISTAR’s 24th Annual TRISTAR Collectors Show in Houston, Jan. 22-24, 2010 at the George R. Brown Convention Center. The event will feature appearances by a star-studded lineup of stars, including Willie Mays, Joe Montana, John Elway, Reggie Jackson, Randy Johnson and many more.
ESPON 97.5 FM will be on site broadcasting live at the January show and promoting the TRISTAR event in the months leading up to the biggest collectors event of the year in the Southwest.
“As we continue to grow our place in the Houston marketplace, TRISTAR is an outstanding addition to our list of partners, programming and play by play content,” said Dave Tepper, ESPN 97.5 FM Program Director.
