Upper Deck Releases O-Pee-Chee Hockey

Upper Deck has announced the release of its biggest trading card set of the year: 2010-11 O-Pee-Chee Hockey. This year’s 600-card offering features the hottest NHL rookies including No. 1 overall draft pick Taylor Hall and his Edmonton teammate, Jordan Eberle. With its massive base set, retro variations, autographs and four-player jersey cards, O-Pee-Chee Hockey is sure to provide something unique to pique the interest of hockey card collectors everywhere.
“With an affordable price point and a 600-card checklist, 2010-11 O-Pee-Chee is the ultimate set for casual and hardcore fans alike,” said Josh Zusman, Upper Deck’s Hockey brand manager. “And with its December release date, O-Pee-Chee captures this season’s top rookies in action.”
Beyond the huge base set, collectors will enjoy the wide array of retro variations featuring Marquee Legends and Marquee Rookies including the young stars who have made their NHL debuts during this current season, which combine to appear in every other pack.
Continuing with the retro theme that makes O-Pee-Chee so special, insert cards entitled “Stat Kings,” “Trophy Winners,” “Team Leaders” and more will feature greats of the past and present. Falling at a rate of 1:4 packs, these cards only add to the wide assortment of exciting old school cards that already enhance the look and value of the product.
Signature and memorabilia cards are included in O-Pee-Chee as well.
